Welcome to the Wonderful World of Radnor Crew!
For those of you who are veterans, you've been bitten by the bug and are hooked, you have our utmost respect – it takes a tremendous amount of discipline and energy to row six days a week. For those fresh faces in the crowd, you are about to begin a new, different, unpredictable and always exciting experience – one that is likely to leave a lasting positive impact on your life.
The Radnor Girls Crew Club offers both fall and spring crew for Radnor High School students, as well as a summer Rowing Camp for all new athletes.
- Fall Crew: Enjoy autumn on the river. The fall season may feature fewer competitions, but it's a great opportunity to hone your skills and get in shape for the highly competitive spring season. Fall competitions consist of head races, where boats are started sequentially and timed against other boats starting at different times.
- Winter Training: If you're not participating in a winter sport, this is your opportunity to prepare for regatta season beginning in mid-March.
- Spring Crew: The spring is when the head-to-head competitions start. From the first competition in mid-March through to Nationals on Memorial Day weekend, Radnor Crew is ready to rule the river!
- Summer Rowing Camp: The Summer Rowing Camp is geared toward rising high-schoolers and novice athletes looking to learn the basics before the fall season starts. Here's more information
The RGCC is proud to be able to offer a limited amount of need-based financial assistance to qualified athletes.
